Job Description
Head of Governance & Reporting (GISO) - London

Full time, permanent role. Hybrid working with 1-2 days in office per week. Competitive salary plus benefits package. 35 hour work week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and delivery of the governance framework, policies and processes across Information Security.
  • Ensure governance is clear, understood and consistently applied across global teams.
  • Oversee senior level reporting, including board and regulatory reporting, guaranteeing accuracy and timeliness.
  • Build dashboards and insights that help leaders understand performance and risk.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather and present meaningful information.
  • Support governance forums and committees - prepare agendas, papers and meeting minutes.
  • Manage action tracking to ensure key decisions are followed through.
  • Work with risk and audit teams to align governance with wider risk management practices.
  • Act as a key contact for governance queries from stakeholders across the business.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify and improve governance and reporting processes.
What We're Looking For
  • Proven leadership experience in governance, risk, compliance or related area.
  • Experience in large, global organisations with complex structures.
  • Strong understanding of governance frameworks, risk management and reporting.
  • Ability to explain complex topics in a clear and simple way.
  • Excellent stakeholder, communication and presentation skills.
  • Proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical thinking.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g. CISA, CISM, CGEIT, ITIL).
  • Experience with governance or reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practice in information security.
