Requirements

• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 months' experience working as a Healthcare Assistant
• Resident in Ireland with valid work permission (EU passport or GNIB Stamp 1G, 2, 4, 4D, 5, or 4 EUFam)
• Willingness to undergo Garda Vetting
• International Police Clearance if lived outside Ireland for more than 6 months after age 16
• Vaccinations: Hepatitis B, MMR, Tuberculosis, Varicella

Responsibilities

• Assisting patients with personal care and daily living activities
• Supporting nursing staff with patient care in a hospital setting
• Ensuring patient comfort, dignity, and safety at all times
• Maintaining a clean and safe care environment
• Accurately reporting observations and concerns to the clinical team
