Grounds Maintenance Operative - Gardener Location: Birmingham, B37 Salary: £25,893 per annum or £13.46 per hour (PAYE) Hours: 37 hours per weekMonday-Thursday: 7:30am-3:30pmFriday: 7:30am-3:00pm Contract: Temporary (sickness cover)Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality grass cutting across estates and communal areas using modern equipment
• Hedge, bush and shrub trimming, pruning and seasonal planting
• Weed control, strimming and edging to ensure a neat, well-finished appearance
• Safe removal and disposal of green waste
• Litter picking and general site tidying
• Light maintenance of paved and slabbed areas, including sweeping and weed treatment

Important Requirements (Essential):

• Full UK manual driving licence - this is essential
• Ability to drive a manual company vehicle as part of the role

Desirable:

• PA1 & PA6 spraying licence
• Banksman training
• Licence to drive a trailer

This role is subject to a Basic DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service).
