Freelance German Speaking HR Services Specialist

German HR Operations | Labour Law | SuccessFactors | ATOSS | HR Data and Process Stabilisation

Global Enterprise Partners is supporting the HR Operations VP of a multinational organisation in securing an experienced Senior HR Services Specialist with strong German HR expertise. This role sits at the heart of German HR Operations and is critical to stabilising delivery, improving data quality, and strengthening team confidence during a period of operational change.

This is a hands-on, delivery-focused freelance role, ideal for a German-speaking HR expert who is comfortable managing complex German employee cases, working directly in HR systems, and coaching HR Operations colleagues.

Role Purpose

The organisation is experiencing operational pressure within German HR Services due to high volume, system complexity, and data inconsistencies. The successful consultant will:

  • Act as the go-to SME for German HR topics
  • Help reduce backlog and unblock day-to-day HR operations
  • Drive HR data clean-up, accuracy, and reporting clarity
  • Bring structure, coaching, and calm to the HR Operations team

Requirements

Must-Have

  • 5+ years of hands-on German HR administration experience
  • Strong, practical knowledge of German labour law (especially maternity and paternity)
  • Experience with ATOSS or similar Time and Attendance systems
  • Strong operational experience in contracts, onboarding, and employee changes
  • Confidence acting as a senior advisor and coach in HR Operations
  • Strong stakeholder communication skills
  • Fluent German and English (German mandatory)
  • Tech-savvy, analytical, and hands-on mindset

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with SuccessFactors
  • Background in retail, manufacturing, or operational workforce environments
  • Experience in shared services or multinational organisations
  • Exposure to HR data reporting, analytics, or process improvement initiatives
