PLM-Centric Consultant - 12 months+ - FR

For a leading organisation in the manufacturing and industrial innovation sector, we are looking for an experienced PLM-Centric Consultant based in France. In this role, you will support and optimise complex PLM environments, drive digital transformation initiatives, and enhance end-to-end product life cycle processes. This assignment offers strong visibility, long-term stability, and an excellent rate.

Are you technically strong in PLM, confident navigating engineering-heavy environments, and experienced with leading PLM platforms? Then this is a highly attractive long-term mission.

What you will do

. Lead PLM-centric process optimisation and solution design
. Analyse, model, and improve product life cycle workflows
. Collaborate with engineering, R&D, manufacturing, and IT teams
. Configure, customise, and enhance PLM systems (3DEXPERIENCE, Teamcenter, Windchill, Aras, etc.)
. Ensure data integrity, proper versioning, and robust configuration management
. Support digital transformation and industrial modernisation programmes
. Advise stakeholders on PLM best practices and system evolution

Knock-out criteria (mandatory)

Candidates must meet all of the following requirements:
. Strong, proven experience as a PLM-Centric Consultant or PLM Specialist
. Hands-on work with at least one major PLM platform
. Solid understanding of engineering change management, product structures, and PLM data models
. Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, industrial, or high-tech sectors
. Fluent French - essential
. Able to start quickly and commit to a long-term engagement
. Willing to work partly onsite in France

. Experience operating in large, complex enterprise environments
. Proactive, structured, and high attention to detail
. Experience with PLM-ERP/MES integrations is a plus

Assignment details

. Start: ASAP
. Duration: 12 months+
. Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)
. Location: France (hybrid/onsite)
. Contract type: Freelance
. Rate: High rate, depending on experience
