Friends International Birmingham: International Student Worker (full/part time)

Birmingham is the youngest major city in Europe, with 40% of the population under 25 years of age. It attracts over 25,000 international students to its many universities.

Friends International is an evangelical mission agency dedicated to supporting and equipping churches to reach international students for Christ. We currently have 80 staff working in 35 university towns and cities across the UK and Ireland.

FI is looking for a staff worker to join our local team, developing our international student ministries alongside Birmingham churches. This will involve mobilising volunteers and liaising with church leaders to take the ministry forward. Personal evangelism and discipleship with international students will also be a key component of the work, as you seek to provide a model for others.

With training and support, over time you will raise the costs of salary, employment, training and work related costs by developing a network of personal prayer and financial partners (churches and individuals). Seed funding is available, with a view to you growing full personal support over time with the help of experienced Friends International colleagues.
