We're Hiring: Freelance Assistant Site Manager
Location: Great Manchester / Merseyside
Sectors: Commercial
Dayrate: £200 - £230 a day
Duration: Short term / long term/ ongoing

Fawkes & Reece are hiring for a Freelance Assistant Site Manager for upcoming commercial projects, refurbs, fitouts, new build etc in 2026.

• Assist in daily management and coordination of commercial projects
• Supervise contractors and subcontractors on-site daily.
• Ensure projects are on-time and to client specification.
• Assist with H&S, site checks, managing labour
• Report directly to the Site Manager/ Project Manager.
• Monitor site progress and ensure compliance with health & safety standards.
• Maintain accurate site records, including diaries and permits.
• Coordinate with design teams, consultants, and client representatives.

• Experience working within the commercial sector
• CSCS
• SMSTS or SSSTS
• First Aid at Work
• Experience as an Assistant Site Manager in commercial
• Day rate
• Weekly pay on a Friday
