We're Hiring: Freelance Assistant Site Manager
Location: Great Manchester / Merseyside
Sectors: Commercial
Dayrate: £200 - £230 a day
Duration: Short term / long term/ ongoing
Fawkes & Reece are hiring for a Freelance Assistant Site Manager for upcoming commercial projects, refurbs, fitouts, new build etc in 2026.
What you'll do as an Assistant Freelance Site Manager:- Assist in daily management and coordination of commercial projects
- Supervise contractors and subcontractors on-site daily.
- Ensure projects are on-time and to client specification.
- Assist with H&S, site checks, managing labour
- Report directly to the Site Manager/ Project Manager.
- Monitor site progress and ensure compliance with health & safety standards.
- Maintain accurate site records, including diaries and permits.
- Coordinate with design teams, consultants, and client representatives.
- Experience working within the commercial sector
- CSCS
- SMSTS or SSSTS
- First Aid at Work
- Experience as an Assistant Site Manager in commercial
- Day rate
- Weekly pay on a Friday
