A leading franchised main dealer in Warwick is expanding its aftersales division and recruiting an experienced Vehicle Technician. Working within a state-of-the-art facility for a world-renowned automotive brand, this role centers on complex diagnostics, major powertrain overhauls, and warranty repairs. The position comes with dedicated factory training pathways, high-spec workshop tooling, and excellent earning potential through performance incentives.

What's Included in the Package?
  • Salary Range: £35,000 - £45,000 basic per annum (DOE) + productivity efficiency scheme (Holding an active MOT Tester licence is highly advantageous and commands a higher starting salary!)
  • Working Schedule: Monday to Friday schedule (plus Saturdays on a rotating rota)

Core Responsibilities
  • Carry out heavy mechanical procedures, including timing chain/belt renewals, engine overhauls, gearbox replacements, and clutch builds
  • Utilize official diagnostic platforms to trace, evaluate, and resolve complex electrical, mechanical, and software faults
  • Conduct routine servicing, multi-point vehicle health checks (VHC), and manufacturer warranty inspections
  • Record detailed technical updates on digital job cards and update service advisors on job timelines
  • Maintain strict workshop health and safety standards, tool care, and bay cleanliness
Candidate Profile
  • Technical Ability: Solid background in major mechanical overhauls alongside confident diagnostic problem-solving
  • Qualifications: Level 3 NVQ / IMI in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent time-served credential)
  • MOT Status: Active MOT Tester accreditation is desirable for an enhanced starting band, but is not essential to apply
  • Mindset: Quality-focused professional dedicated to accurate, right-first-time repairs
  • Requirements: Full UK Driving Licence
