FP&A Manager

Overview

This is a Financial Planning and Analysis role in a fast growing Financial Services business with Private Equity backing in South Manchester. You will report into a Chief Financial Officer with significant PE experience, including delivering successful financial events for ownership groups of previous businesses. You will be their right-hand person, delivering critical monthly reports and information to senior stakeholders, the CFO, the CEO, and other directors and managers who make up the decision-making team.

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with FP&A experience, ideally at a high-growth business with Private Equity backing. This role offers exposure to a CFO and management team aiming to take the business through a transaction over the next 3-5 years and may suit someone who aspires to become a CFO or number one in finance in time.

Responsibilities

• Deliver critical monthly reports and information on business performance to the CFO, CEO, and senior stakeholders.
• Provide analytical insights to support decision-making across senior management and directors.
• Act as the finance lead supporting the organisation through a potential transaction over the next 3-5 years.
• Collaborate with the management team to understand drivers of financial performance and forecast accuracy.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
• FP&A experience, ideally in a high-growth business with Private Equity backing.
• Experience reporting to a CFO and working with PE-backed ownership groups is desirable.
