Avanti Recruitment is partnering with an early-stage, Y Combinator-backed legal technology company. They are building an AI-native platform used by top litigation teams at leading law firms in the UK and US.

They are now hiring a Founding Full Stack Engineer to join a small, elite engineering team and help build a category-defining product from the ground up.

The Role

• Ship production code from day one
• Own features end-to-end, from customer conversations through to deployment
• Build across the full stack:
• Python backend
• React / Next.js with TypeScript frontend
• Cloud infrastructure on Azure
• Work closely with demanding professional users and solve real, high-impact problems
• Play a key role in shaping engineering standards, architecture and culture

What They're Looking For

• Strong software engineer with 5+ years' experience
• 1st class degree from a top University
• Computer science or strong STEM background
• Excellent communication skills and professional presence
• High agency, self-directed and comfortable with ownership
• Passion for building high-quality products and shipping regularly
• Startup mindset without the chaos
