Fitter/Service Support

We have an exciting opportunity for a Fitter/Service Support based in Castleford for one of our clients on a Full time permanent basis.

Summary of the Fitter/Service Support role

Salary: £35,000
Location: Castleford
Type of Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours - Monday - Thursday 8.15am-4.30pm Friday - 8.15-1.45pm

Responsibilities of theFitter/Service Support

• De-contamination of pump units
• Dismantling, inspection and reporting of pump unit condition
• Identification of spare parts required from drawings
• Mechanical measurements of components
• Electrical inspection, assembly and testing of pumps
• Assisting within other departments when required

Requirements for a successful Fitter/Service Support

• Confined space training
• Overhead crane, Lifting & slinging operator licence
• Water Hygiene qualified
• Full clean driving license
• Mechanical Engineering apprenticeship or similar or time served
• Experience in Electric motor & control equipment
• Fault finding skills
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
• Forklift licenses
