We have an exciting opportunity for a Fitter/Service Support based in Castleford for one of our clients on a Full time permanent basis.
Summary of the Fitter/Service Support role
Salary: £35,000
Location: Castleford
Type of Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours - Monday - Thursday 8.15am-4.30pm Friday - 8.15-1.45pm
Responsibilities of theFitter/Service Support
- De-contamination of pump units
- Dismantling, inspection and reporting of pump unit condition
- Identification of spare parts required from drawings
- Mechanical measurements of components
- Electrical inspection, assembly and testing of pumps
- Assisting within other departments when required
Requirements for a successful Fitter/Service Support
- Confined space training
- Overhead crane, Lifting & slinging operator licence
- Water Hygiene qualified
- Full clean driving license
- Mechanical Engineering apprenticeship or similar or time served
- Experience in Electric motor & control equipment
- Fault finding skills
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Forklift licenses
