We are seeking an experienced Finishing Foreman to join a new build residential housing project in Oldham, starting in March. This is a freelance position suited to a proactive, detail-driven individual with a strong background in delivering high-quality housing developments through to completion.

You will play a key role in ensuring all plots are completed to the highest standard, ready for client handover, while maintaining health and safety compliance and programme deadlines.

Oversee all finishing trades on site to ensure quality workmanship and timely completion

Manage and coordinate subcontractors during the final stages of build

Carry out snagging inspections and ensure defects are rectified promptly

Liaise with Site Manager and Project Manager to maintain programme targets

Ensure plots meet NHBC / building control standards prior to handover

Maintain high standards of health & safety across site operations

Organise and manage materials required for finishing works

Support customer care and handover processes where required

Proven experience as a Finishing Foreman on new build housing projects

Strong knowledge of residential construction processes and finishing standards

Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications

Excellent eye for detail and quality control

Valid SMSTS or SSSTS certification

Strong leadership and communication skills

Ability to work independently in a freelance capacity
