We're recruiting a Finance Manager for our corporate site in Madrid, who'll be responsible for financial governance of the 4 Legal Entities of IBERIA with the proper segregation of costs, STS complex/ matrix set-up and track of the Global Hubs and above country functions based in Spain while partnering with Senior Finance Heads in Iberia, Group Corporate Finance, STO Finance and Local Boards.


Your responsibilities will include:


  • Act as coordinator of the Country Finance Leadership Team and Corporate functions
  • Liaise with BPA /FRA colleagues and provide inputs to support charging models for statutory or management reporting as might be required
  • SLA intra-group Support creation/ Definition and follow up
  • Adequacy of cross-charge allocations,
  • Ensure proper track and FTE allocation where corresponding among BUs, Hubs and above country functions
  • Consolidate and review the monthly results of the country (legal entities) for accuracy and compliance with internal and external control requirements
  • Understand balance sheet implications as needed
  • Provide financial analysis for ad hoc projects as requested by senior management
  • Liaise with Technology/ Digital on global systems projects for Finance in country
  • Transfer Price, Cross Country Statutory Management, Consolidation legal entities KPIS (NWC, )
  • REFS shared areas with NVS post Orbit, STS x-charge model, Pension Plan Management
  • Coordinate at Group level consolidation and/or remediation of risk management and financial controls.
  • to help define/ improve internal processes, often dependent from above-country hubs
  • To initiate and track CCC KPIs for the country and support cross-business segments projects


What you need to bring to the role:

  • University degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics; MBA highly desirable
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • 10 years of relevant accounting/financial experience, extensive BPA & FRA experience
  • Previous experience with Commercial Operations Business Units and supporting functional business partners (Finance, Legal, Development, P&O, Communications) preferred
  • Desirable to have had Manufacturing exposure
  • Excellent analytical and strategic skills
  • Ability to understand the bigger picture (i.e. impacts of major initiatives in the supported areas across the business, etc)
  • Experience with interfacing effectively with parent and global counterparts
  • In-depth knowledge of Sandoz business information systems and structure, including SHAPE, ASPIRE, Data Warehouse, and BPC highly preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing; ability to clearly explain financial information to a variety of audiences
  • Strong PC skills including excellent proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
