Job Description

• Develop and implement financial strategies to support the organisation's objectives.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and maintain robust internal controls.
• Provide detailed financial analysis and reports to support decision-making at the C-Suite level.
• Manage cash flow, investments, and risk to safeguard the company's financial health.
• Lead and develop the finance team to ensure optimal performance and growth.
• Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals with operational strategies.
• Evaluate and drive cost-saving initiatives to enhance profitability.

The Successful Applicant

• Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Clear evidence of delivering strategic improvements in their existing business
• Senior Finance Leadership Experience - ideally have experience as an Finance Director in a scaling SME
• High levels of Commercial Acumen - experience in contract negotiation, bids, tenders and pricing
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers, colleagues and senior stakeholders
