Senior Finance Business Partner - Temp - Government

Your new company

A complex government organisation is seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner for a temp role for 6 months, starting in July. This is a high profile role working with a team based in Canary Whaf.

Your new role

Work with strategic finance and financial accounting teams to:

• Lead capital budgeting and forecasting
• Advise on IFRS 16, fixed assets and leases
• Provide finance business partnering across multiple business areas.
• Review business cases and expenditure proposals

What you'll need to succeed

Essential:

• Full accountancy qualification - CCAB, CIMA or equivalent
• Demonstrable experience at Senior Finance Business Partner level, leading on capital budgets
• Expertise in capital accounting, IFRS 16 and fixed assets
• Excellent communication skills in order to present to senior stakeholders
• Advanced Excel skills

Desirable:

• It would be beneficial to have experience from either the public sector or digital, technology or property expenditure.
• Unit4 / Agresso
