We are seeking a Paralegal to join our Worcester office under the guidance of a senior solicitor, specialising in family and public law, particularly focusing on children in care. This role requires an individual who can start immediately and is capable of handling sensitive cases with professionalism and care.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Assist the senior solicitor in managing cases related to family and public law, with a focus on children in care.
• Prepare legal documents, case briefs, and reports under the supervision of the senior solicitor.
• Conduct legal research and gather relevant information from various sources.
• Liaise with clients, offering empathetic and professional support.
• Maintain and organise case files to ensure information is kept confidential and accessible.
• Attend court proceedings and meetings as required, providing support and documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Paralegal, specifically in family and/or public law.
• Strong understanding of legal procedures and legislation related to family law, especially concerning children in care.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a sensitive and challenging environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of handling interactions with clients in distress.
• Legal research proficiency and attention to detail.
