I am currently recruiting for an Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school team in Haverhill, starting as soon as possible on a full time basis. You will be working in the Nursery Classroom, supporting the teacher with general classroom duties and offering a creative approach to learning. The school is looking for someone engaging, reliable and caring. You must hold at least a Level 3 Qualification in Early Years.

Here are the responsibilities of the job

• You will be supporting the teacher with lessons and behaviour management
• You must safeguard children
• You will communicate effectively with children, staff, parents and carers where required
• You will be engaging students in learning to keep them on task
• You must adapt your support depending on the needs of the child - every child is different!

Requirements for the job

• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one)
• Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification in Early Years
• At least 6 months experience working with children
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• A true passion to work with children
