Genesis is considering both permanent and contract positions across various experience levels as we grow our capabilities in decommissioning services.

We are seeking both experienced and emerging Decommissioning Study Managers / Project Engineers to join our specialist team, supporting multi-disciplinary decommissioning projects. Your role will be vital in adding value to early project decision-making, working collaboratively to optimize efficiency, streamline interfaces, and reduce management burdens.

• Responsibilities include delivering Comparative Assessments, defining decommissioning philosophies, supporting asset decommissioning, producing Decommissioning Programmes, and liaising with clients, regulators, and stakeholders.
• The Environmental Team, comprising around 40 members in the UK, is expanding due to increased requests for Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) for offshore projects. We seek a candidate with a keen interest in applying EIA to offshore project assessments.
• You will support a wide range of environmental studies related to offshore developments and decommissioning projects, including Survey Scoping, Comparative Assessments, Best Available Techniques, and Stakeholder Management.

Subsea

• We seek a Subsea Decommissioning Engineer with expertise in the safe and efficient removal of subsea infrastructure, a strong subsea engineering background, and a proactive problem-solving approach.
• Your responsibilities will include planning and executing decommissioning projects, technical assessments of pipeline and subsea structure removal, delivering Comparative Assessments (including pipeline status, historical reviews, and Materials Inventories), and preparing subsea engineering scope of works.
• You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop decommissioning strategies, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with regulations.
