Location: Gloucester or Liverpool

The Vacancy

Exposure Management - Technical Analyst - Aggregations and Energy/Renewables

Pro Insurance currently has multiple positions available within our expanding Underwriting Support department. We are seeking experienced Technicians or Analysts to join our Exposure Management team in Aggregations and our Energy/Renewables team.

The roles involve sourcing, interpreting, extracting, and analysing information from various types of documentation, and manipulating data into client-specific formats.

Pro operates a hybrid working policy, with time split between home and our Gloucester or Liverpool office.

Responsibilities

  1. Analysis, interpretation, and manipulation of data, principally schedules of values.
  2. Using websites and internet searches to enhance or verify provided information, e.g., improving address accuracy.
  3. Examination and interpretation of policy documents to extract relevant data.
  4. Creation and maintenance of data within client systems, e.g., application of policy terms and conditions.
  5. Use of client modelling software (e.g., RiskLink and TouchStone) to upload cleansed files and run Natural Catastrophe models.
  6. Quality assurance of cleansed or modelled files.
  7. Communicating professionally with clients regularly.
  8. Ensuring compliance with client quality standards and turnaround times to meet service level agreements.
  9. Resolving or escalating queries to management or clients as appropriate.

Skills and Experience

  1. Knowledge of the insurance industry, especially Energy and/or Renewables, is essential.
  2. Ability to deliver accurate information with strong attention to detail.
  3. Experience in exposure management or aggregation processes is advantageous but not essential.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas.
  5. Excellent time management, flexibility, and organizational skills to meet client requirements.
  6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team and build relationships with colleagues and clients.
  7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  8. A conscientious, positive, and enthusiastic approach to work, maintaining good relationships with colleagues and clients.
  9. Willingness to learn and work across multiple client teams.
  10. Basic understanding of operational management.
