Expert Engineer in Green Ammonia

Under our New Track and Services Division and it commitment with a low carbon economy, the team is focused on the development of engineering services related to the Steel Setor and their needs.

We are looking for an Expert Engineer in Green Ammonia that will be responsible for developing and optimizing solutions using renewable energy sources a multitude of applications in industry and other sectors.

Key responsibilities:

• Fully conversant with international design codes for storage tanks:

o API 650 /620 / API625

o API 2000

o ASME V and ASME IX

o EN14015

o EN14620 / EN1473

o EN ISO 15607/ EN ISO 15609/ EN ISO

15614

o Eurocodes 0-9

• Good Knowledge in design of Green ammonia tanks.

• Demonstrable experience in the elaboration of material specifications, design basis, refabrication procedures, method statement revision.

• Knowledge of materials of construction such us: metallic components, welding consumables and insulation material requirements associated with cryogenic storage tanks.

• Knowledge of interaction between external concrete tank and metallic and insulation components in full containment tanks.

• Prepare and check equipment specifications and datasheets.

• Requisitioning and technical bid evaluation of each material component of cryogenic storage

tank, as well as, requisitioning and technical bid evaluation of EPC cryogenic tank. Further clarifications meeting with Supplier's.

• Experience in Vendor documentation revision

• Interface with other specialists like process, civil, electrical, instrumentation and piping.

• Finite Element analysis (FEA) experience is added advantage (ABAQUS).

• Experience with technical software (AMETANK, STAAD)

Qualifications and desired attributes

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from a recognized institute.

• More than 5 years of experience in static equipment design in Green Ammonia Tanks.

• Fluent in English.

• Innovative Thinking: Ability to develop new methods for improving green ammonia production

efficiency and sustainability.

• Leadership: Proven track record of leading successful projects and teams.

• Communication: Excellent communication skills to interact with staff, customers, and international audiences.
