Salary: £95'000 + 10% DV Bonus + 15% Performance Bonus + £6'000 Car Allowance

Are you ready to take the lead in shaping secure cloud solutions for some of the UK's most critical digital transformation programmes?

We're looking for a Lead Cloud Architect to join a dynamic, agile delivery team working on a greenfield project at the forefront of secure cloud technologies. You'll play a key role in designing robust, scalable solutions across public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI - all within highly regulated government and defence environments.

This role offers a unique blend of technical leadership, bid response support, cloud adoption consultancy, and mentoring. You'll be instrumental in elevating our internal capability while supporting a wide variety of mission-driven projects.

What You'll Do:

• Design secure, scalable cloud architectures tailored to complex customer environments.

• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and operations teams to build integrated solutions.

• Lead cloud elements of bid responses and customer negotiations.

• Provide hands-on consultancy in cloud transformation, adoption, and security.

• Mentor colleagues and share expertise to uplift internal cloud knowledge.

• Contribute to continuous improvement through automation, documentation, and innovation.

What We're Looking For:

• Strong experience delivering cloud solutions using IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.

• Expertise with Infrastructure as Code and Scripting for cloud automation.

• Familiarity with industry-recognised security standards and best practices.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Agile team experience with a collaborative mindset.

• Relevant cloud certifications are a strong plus.

• Must be eligible and willing to undergo high-level UK security vetting.

• Willingness to travel to client sites and the Basingstoke office as needed.
