Experienced LSA / HLTA Wanted

We are working with schools in Loughton who are looking for skilled support professionals who can make an immediate contribution in the classroom. Opportunities may include general classroom support, SEND provision, intervention work and higher-level responsibilities.

The role may involve:

• Leading targeted literacy and numeracy interventions
• Supporting pupils with SEND on a one-to-one basis
• Preparing learning resources
• Assisting with assessment and pupil progress
• Managing small groups independently
• Providing classroom or lesson cover, depending on experience
• Working closely with teachers, SENDCos and pastoral staff

We are especially interested in applicants with experience as an:

• Higher Level Teaching Assistant
• Learning Support Assistant
• SEND Teaching Assistant
• Cover Supervisor
• Behaviour or Pastoral Mentor
• Intervention Assistant

Relevant qualifications are welcomed, including Level 2 or Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning and HLTA status. Strong practical school experience will also be considered.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
