My client is an established multi disciplinary engineering and environmental consultancy based in Munster, with offices in Tralee and Limerick. They are currently seeking a Senior Environmental Consultant to join their growing team and contribute to a range of exciting and diverse projects.

This position is ideal for Senior Environmental Consultants with over 8 years of experience who are looking for an opportunity to work on challenging projects within a supportive, team oriented environment. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the environmental components of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs), ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards.
• Provide expert guidance on environmental planning and regulatory matters.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams, including engineers, planners, and architects, to integrate environmental considerations into project designs.
• Prepare and review environmental documentation such as EIARs, EIA Screening Reports, Construction Environmental Management Plans, and Resource and Waste Management Plans.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and authorities as needed to support project development.
• Represent the company at client meetings, public consultations, and regulatory hearings.
• Mentor and support junior team members, helping to develop their understanding of environmental regulations and best practices.

Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in environmental consultancy or a related field.
• Proven expertise in Environmental Impact Assessments, regulatory compliance, and environmental planning.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a range of professionals.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and meet deadlines.
• A commitment to high standards of environmental performance and continuous professional development.
