English Tutor - NE38, Northumberland

Location: NE38, Northumberland
Hours: Part-Time Weekdays Between School Hours
Pay: Competitive Hourly Rate

TP Tutors is looking for a dedicated English Tutor to provide 1:1 tuition to Primary and Secondary-aged learners across NE38, Northumberland. This is a rewarding opportunity to help students build confidence, improve their English skills, and achieve their academic goals through personalised learning.

The Role
  • Deliver engaging 1:1 English tuition sessions.
  • Plan lessons tailored to each child's individual learning needs.
  • Support learners with reading, writing, grammar, spelling, comprehension, and exam preparation.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to support different learning styles, including pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Monitor progress and provide regular feedback.
What We're Looking For
  • Minimum 1 year's teaching or tutoring experience in the UK.
  • Experience with Primary and Secondary-aged learners.
  • SEN experience.
  • Strong knowledge of the English curriculum.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Right to work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
