We are seeking experienced Senior Managers and Directors to join our thriving energy and water team.

Our Energy and Water practice is dedicated to addressing the Utilities sector's key challenges, including advancing the transition to Net Zero.

Our clients rely on our deep industry expertise, insight, and pragmatic delivery to address challenges in Retail Energy (market reform, customer operations, net zero strategies), Energy Networks (decarbonization, policy, innovation, digital solutions), and Water (perception, sustainability, digital transformation).

What you will be doing

• Serving as a trusted advisor to clients, helping identify, assess, design, and implement solutions to complex business challenges.
• Leading the scoping and delivery of complex, multi-faceted change programs under challenging market conditions.
• Working within high-visibility industry projects, leading blended teams of Baringa and client personnel.
• Contributing to practice leadership, driving business development and go-to-market strategies.

Your skills and experience

For Senior Manager (8+ years) and Director (10+ years) roles, we seek candidates with extensive utilities sector experience in consulting, a track record of:

• Building and nurturing trusted client relationships at senior levels.
• Leading and developing diverse teams of clients and consultants.
• Delivering complex engagements with tangible outcomes.
• Strong commercial awareness and business development skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and presentation skills.
• The ability to explain complex concepts clearly to non-specialists.

Preferred expertise includes:

• Digital: Experience with digital, data platforms, AI solutions in utilities.
• Customer: Knowledge of customer metering, billing, debt management, and process improvements.
• Field Services: Experience in field service transformation, efficiency, and net zero delivery.
• Network Infrastructure: Experience in asset management, capital delivery, and digital enablement in utilities.
• Energy Distribution: Knowledge of DSO, flexibility markets, grid connection, and industry reforms.

Roles primarily focus on UK & Ireland markets, with experience in Australia, US, or Europe advantageous.
