We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our Global Intelligence Team based in Stonehouse, UK. The energy industry is undergoing significant changes, with increased exploration, development, and investments in renewable energy. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with an inquisitive mind, interested in all aspects of the energy sector. Enverus offers a hybrid remote and in-office work model to promote flexibility, collaboration, culture, and mentorship.
Performance Objectives- Gather, interpret, quality check, and input information related to the energy industry into our GIS database and generate our Global Intelligence product.
- Assist regional experts in collecting data on current, planned, and historic activities, including licensing, seismic, drilling, field development, production, and renewables.
- Process, standardize, quality check, and input energy data into the GIS database, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Produce regional activity maps and contribute to editorial content, ensuring timely delivery of weekly and monthly products.
- Support the promotion of Enverus Global products by engaging with clients and industry at events, with opportunities for international travel.
- Strong intellectual curiosity
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Team player with good communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Ability to work independently
- Degree educated, preferably in earth sciences
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Good IT skills, familiar with Windows and MS Office; experience with GIS software and relational databases is a plus
- Experience in upstream oil & gas industry is desirable
- Language skills are advantageous
