Realise Futures is seeking an Employment Advisor to join our high performing team to deliver real and lasting change through the Restart contract, based in Ipswich with opportunities to work across Stowmarket and other sites.

As an Employment Advisor you will be at the forefront of the Restart scheme, delivering intensive and tailored support to help a diverse range of participants achieve their professional and academic aspirations. You will work as part of a friendly and supportive team, and you will be an excellent communicator who is solution focused, organised, highly motivated and an inspiration to your participants.
Our purpose is to support unemployed jobseekers (our participants) with identifying, applying for, and sustaining employment, engaging with employers and raising awareness of our service in the local community.
Responsibilities- Deliver intensive and tailored support to participants to help them achieve professional and academic goals and secure long term work.
- Communicate effectively with participants, providing guidance, motivation, and constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate, detailed case notes and progress reports.
- Engage with employers to promote our service and secure opportunities for participants.
- Advocate for participants to overcome barriers and sustain employment.
- Experience delivering advice, information and guidance to prospective candidates.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Motivation to be solution focused and inspirational to participants.
- Willingness to undergo a DBS check.
