We are looking for an Electronic Testing and Assembly Technician to join a small team within a global telecommunications company that specializes in subsea telecommunication equipment and fibre optic technology.

Summary of main duties of an Electronic Testing and Assembly Technician:

1. Support manufacturing activities for new and existing products
2. Disassemble and assemble test equipment components (fibres, cables, etc.)
3. Use electronic measurement devices such as DMMs and oscilloscopes when necessary
4. Highlight any specification or design errors to the responsible engineer or supervisor and rectify if possible
5. Read and interpret technical data, including engineering drawings, circuit diagrams, and assembly drawings

The role involves 50% testing and 50% assembling. A background in testing and manufacturing is required.
