Group Financial Accountant

A growing organisation based in Hessle is recruiting a Group Financial Accountant.

A newly formed role, reporting to the Group Finance Manager but also with a close relationship to the Group Financial Controller.
You will work in a modern office environment within this growing organisation. Hybrid working is available as well as a fantastic overall package.
The ideal candidate will have a professional qualification (ACA,ACCA,CIMA), have good communication skills and have experience working on projects plus audit processes.

Responsibilities include:

Preparation and development of the monthly consolidation and management reporting processes.

Preparation of annual statutory compliance processes at consolidated and subsidiary level, including providing a key point of contact for the Group's auditors and tax advisers.

Management of the technical accounting framework of the Group, developing an IFRS Group Accounting Manual and appropriate monitoring procedures to ensure its consistent application across the Group.

Management and development of a Group financial and tax risk assessment and control framework.

Support the ongoing development of the Group's new NetSuite system, taking responsibility for the appropriate systemisation and automation of key Group processes and controls, with a particular focus on the Group consolidation.

Ensuring robust processes are in place to ensure timely, effective compliance with all covenant and reporting requirements associated with the Group's financing.

Supporting the Group Finance Manager and Group Financial Controller as required in other areas, including corporate treasury and other project work.
