Elevation Recruitment Group is working with a manufacturing business in Doncaster to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor.

The Electrical Maintenance Supervisor will lead day-to-day electrical and mechanical maintenance activity, including fault finding, planned maintenance and project work, while supporting the Maintenance Manager.

The Role

As Electrical Maintenance Supervisor, you will:

• Supervise electrical and mechanical maintenance across breakdowns, planned maintenance and project work
• Lead fault finding and repair activity to minimise downtime
• Work with PLC controlled equipment as part of ongoing maintenance and fault diagnosis
• Ensure all maintenance work is carried out safely and in line with health and safety procedures
• Issue and manage permits for employees and contractors
• Plan and manage maintenance workloads, including contractor activity on site
• Maintain accurate records using maintenance reporting systems
• Read and interpret multi-discipline engineering drawings
• Identify and maintain critical spares stock
• Create and work to risk assessments and method statements
• Support investigations and technical meetings when required
• Cover for shift absence when needed and maintain strong housekeeping standards

The Person

To be successful as an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor, you will need:

• Electrical qualification
• Proven experience working with PLC controlled machinery
• IOSH certification
• Experience in heavy industry and automated environments
• Previous experience supervising or leading engineers
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• The ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
