The Vacancy

Binnies, an RSK Group company, is looking for an Electrical Engineer (Place Based Thinking) to join our Alliance.

What will you be doing as our new Electrical Engineer?

As an Electrical Engineer within our diverse and inclusive engineering team, you will provide electrical engineering technical input to projects in the Anglian Water region.

Key responsibilities:

1. Design and specify LV electrical installations and distribution systems, including specifications, schedules, data sheets, and drawings.
2. Design and specify LV assemblies (e.g., MCC, LV switchboards, control panels) with detailed specifications, schedules, data sheets, and drawings.
3. Review LV electrical designs produced by framework contractors, such as electrical schematics, cable calculations, and termination diagrams.
4. Liaise with technical teams, construction teams, operations, suppliers, and utility companies on technical issues.
5. Specify and select instrumentation based on process design requirements.

About your skills, experience, and behaviors:

• Demonstrable experience as an Electrical Design Engineer with a strong electrical engineering background.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team to solve complex problems.
• Full UK driving license, as site visits will be required.
