Your role will involve
With your rich experience in managing projects - preferably within the Defence & National Security sector you know how to stand your ground dealing with complex environments and challenging stakeholders. You have a great way of bringing people and responsibilities together and are fully aware of the impact of these projects on the clients organisation. You will ensure that your financial management is in order, your scope management is adequate and all stakeholders as well as project related risks are also managed effectively by you.
Your role will involve:
*Support the Project Manager in the day-to-day management of assigned projects or workstreams.
*Assist with the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and milestones.
*Coordinate project activities, ensuring actions are tracked and completed on time.
*Support delivery of agreed outputs within time, cost, and quality constraints.
*Prepare and update regular project reports, dashboards, and status updates.
*Support RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) management, ensuring logs are accurate and up to date.
*Assist with change control activities, ensuring changes are recorded, assessed, and approved in line with governance processes.
*Support audit and assurance activities by ensuring evidence and artefacts are complete and traceable
*Liaise with delivery teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to support timely information flow.
*Assist with project financial tracking, including cost reporting and forecasting
*Support contract and supplier administration activities where applicable.
*Ensure financial data is accurately reflected in project systems and reports
