Salary: £96,000 - £109,000 per annum inclusive of high cost supplement

Hours of work: 37.5h a week (Hybrid - up to 2 days from home)
About the job roleWe have an exciting opportunity for a Director of People & Culture to join St Joseph's Hospice, to partner with diverse groups across the charity and support the needs of both employees and the organisation. We're looking for an exceptional leader with proven experience in leading teams, driving organisational change, and delivering impactful strategic initiatives.
As a key member of the Senior Management Team, you will contribute to strategic decision making, support the effective day to day management of the Hospice, and translate the Charity's goals into clear and impactful outcomes for our culture and people.
About youYou will need:
- Evidence of your commitment to diversity, inclusion, and equity, wellbeing, as well as championing engagement, participation and a positive, supportive workplace culture.
- Proven experience in strategic HR leadership, using data-driven decisions to influence change and translating organisational goals into actionable HR and organisation development plans.
- A strong track record in HR operations, with expertise across all HR disciplines and a focus on fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Experience in organisation development, helping teams work collaboratively, driving high performance, and supporting leadership growth and talent development.
- An understanding of hospice care, healthcare, or not for profit environments.
St Joseph's Hospice was founded in 1905 by the Religious Sisters of Charity and as such it has a rich, Catholic heritage which informs our work today: to support and welcome those in need, from all different cultures, religions and backgrounds.
We provide high quality specialist palliative care for patients with life limiting illness. We have a large team of staff and volunteers who work across community, in patient and out patient services delivering individualised, responsive and holistic support to patients and their families/carers. Our wider team of volunteers and staff provide the organisational infrastructure required by a large charity such as St Joseph's.
