HGV Class 1 Driver

Class 1 / HGV 1 Driver - Monday to Friday on a long term and on-going basis, based for a busy and growing haulier on the outskirts of Ely. You will be starting around 0800 doing 3 runs/shunts daily between the clients yard and British Sugar in Bury.

You will do between 10-12 hours daily, there is an element of waiting involved, where you could be sat 2-3 hours waiting to be loaded with refined sugar to bring back to the clients warehouse for storage.

Drivers need to be patient, polite and looking for a minimum 12 month contract. You do need a minimum 6 months UK Driving Experience.

Monday to Friday £17.50 Per Hour. (PAYE)
0800 - Starts from Ely.

Drivers Need:

Full UK HGV Licence
Max 6 penalty points
Drivers CPC
Drivers Digital Tachograph Card
Patience and ability to strap loads
Prepared for some long waits in-between runs
