Are you a driven and commercially astute Quantity Surveyor ready to take the reins of a growing London team?

We're working with a highly respected, employee-owned consultancy that has just secured sign-off for a pivotal leadership role: Director - Cost Management. This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior position with a clear path to succession and long-term equity potential.

The Opportunity

You'll be leading a small but capable team of 3 (including a Technical Director), with the remit to grow and shape the London cost management function into a 10-20 strong team. The current postholder is transitioning into a more EA-focused role, creating space for a new leader to step in and make their mark.

You'll report directly to the Director Head of Cost, who is looking for someone to eventually step into his shoes over the next few years. This is a long-term strategic hire with succession planning at its core.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading and expanding the London cost management team
  • Driving business development and promoting services across the London market
  • Building strong internal relationships and motivating your team
  • Working on projects ranging from £2m to £30m, with flagship schemes up to £100m+
  • Enjoying autonomy with the full support of a highly experienced leadership team
