We are seeking a dedicated and proactive DevOps Automation Expert to join our client's dynamic team. About the Role:
As a DevOps Automation Expert, you will be instrumental in analyzing, designing, and implementing robust automation solutions across our IT environments. You will play a key role in developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, writing automation scripts, and collaborating with various IT teams to foster continuous improvement and ensure seamless integration and deployment of automation processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze, design, and implement automation solutions for IT environments.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab to enable seamless integration and deployment of automation processes.
- Write and maintain automation scripts using tools like Powershell. Experience with Python, batch scripting, and other script languages is a plus.
- Collaborate with IT teams to identify opportunities for automation and drive continuous improvement in their processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation tools and workflows.
- Document and share best practices to enable other teams to adopt and scale automation solutions effectively.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in automation and DevOps to recommend improvements.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT or a related field, with at least 7 years of relevant experience.
- Broad IT knowledge across areas such as Windows OS, virtualization, and Active Directory.
- Strong experience with Powershell.
- Experience with Python is a plus.
- Proficiency with automation tools like Ansible.
- Strong experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, ideally in GitLab.
- Solid understanding of Agile principles and DevOps practices.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools and methodologies.
