The Role

A secondary school in Warwickshire is seeking a passionate and dedicated Design Technology Teacher specialising in Food & Nutrition to join its department from September 2026 on a full-time, long-term basis. The successful candidate will teach Food & Nutrition across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging and practical lessons that develop students' knowledge, creativity, technical skills, and understanding of food preparation and nutrition. You will support students in making strong progress while encouraging them to develop confidence and independence in practical work. You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons, assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment. You will uphold high expectations for behaviour and achievement while ensuring students develop both practical and theoretical knowledge within the subject.

• Hold QTS or be an ECT
• Have experience teaching Design Technology, with a specialism in Food & Nutrition
