Who are we looking for?

We're looking for an Data Engineer w/ETL (FR Speaker) with strong experience in data integration, SQL, and job orchestration to help design and maintain robust data pipelines. If you enjoy working with data warehouses, automation, and scalable integration processes, this role could be the right fit for you.

Work model: Hybrid (Porto) - 2 days per week in the office

What you'll bring

• Strong hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools such as Semarchy, Stambia, Talend, DataStage, or similar platforms.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, or similar).
• Experience with VTOM (Virtual-M) or similar job orchestration/workload automation tools.
• Knowledge of UNIX/Linux scripting (shell scripting, awk, sed; Python is a plus) for automation and data processing tasks.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT patterns, data quality, and metadata management.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with French proficiency (minimum B2) to collaborate with French-speaking teams.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in fast-paced environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud data platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Familiarity with data governance, cataloging, and security practices.
• Experience with big data technologies such as Spark or Hadoop.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for data engineering.
