The Role: Data Engineer / ETL Developer (Teradata & Ab Initio)

Location: Lisbon

Work Model: Hybrid (2.5x per week at the office)

Sector: Banking

️ Languages: English (Mandatory) French (Nice to have)

Eligibility: Currently living in Portugal and legally authorized to work there

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience working in data engineering or ETL development
• Good knowledge of SQL, Teradata, and data warehouse environments
• Experience working in UNIX environments
• Familiarity with Ab Initio and ETL processes
• Basic understanding of DevOps and CI/CD practices
• Experience in the banking domain is a plus
• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Autonomous, organized, and adaptable, with a curious mindset

• Systems: UNIX environment
• Data Tools: Teradata SQL Assistant / Teradata Studio
• Collaboration & Documentation: Git, Jira, Confluence, MEGA, Zeenea
• DevOps & Delivery: CI/CD practices, Agile environment
