The Role: Data Engineer / ETL Developer (Teradata & Ab Initio)
Location: Lisbon
Work Model: Hybrid (2.5x per week at the office)
Sector: Banking
️ Languages: English (Mandatory) French (Nice to have)
Eligibility: Currently living in Portugal and legally authorized to work there
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience working in data engineering or ETL development
- Good knowledge of SQL, Teradata, and data warehouse environments
- Experience working in UNIX environments
- Familiarity with Ab Initio and ETL processes
- Basic understanding of DevOps and CI/CD practices
- Experience in the banking domain is a plus
- Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Autonomous, organized, and adaptable, with a curious mindset
You'll be working with:
- Data & ETL: Teradata, SQL, Ab Initio, DataStage
- Job Scheduling: Control-M
- Systems: UNIX environment
- Data Tools: Teradata SQL Assistant / Teradata Studio
- Collaboration & Documentation: Git, Jira, Confluence, MEGA, Zeenea
- DevOps & Delivery: CI/CD practices, Agile environment
