Job Description

Customer Team Leader

Location: St Saviours Road, Bath, BA1 6RT

Pay: £14.48 per hour

Contract: 16-39 hours per week plus regular overtime, permanent contract, part time

Working pattern: a mix of opening, closing, and mid day shifts with flexibility across the week, including at least 2 evening shifts and 1 weekend shift (Friday after 6pm, any shift on Saturday, or Sunday). Availability can be discussed at interview.

You must be aged 18+ to authorise age related sales.

You'll keep our shelves stocked and support sales, helping us offer more choice and exciting new services to our customers. You will be a familiar face in the community, get to know customers, support local and national charities, and champion Co op membership to help grow our business.

What you'll do
  • Own the day to day running of the store by leading the team on your shift
  • Motivate, coach, and support your team to deliver great service and efficient operations
  • Work hands on on the shop floor and tills, and in our in store bakery, supporting daily operations and setting the pace for a team of Customer Team Members
  • Support store performance through merchandising, stock accuracy, and HR processes
  • Champion Co op through community engagement and membership growth
What you'll need
  • Passion for people and leadership
  • The ability to work flexibly and lead by example
  • Skills in retail, merchandising, or team management (experience not essential)
