Boeing Global Services, Consumables & Expendables (C&E) Distribution Business is looking for a Customer Support Specialist for the Burgess Hill, UK facility.
In this exciting role, you will coordinate customer inquiries and ensure timely delivery of spare parts and chemicals by working closely with suppliers and customers. Your responsibilities includes tracking orders, managing delivery requirements, and resolving any issues to support smooth and efficient service.
Position ResponsibilitiesDuties will include (but are not limited to):
- Internal customer support for the sale of consumables & expendables for the aviation industry.
- Looking after a primarily national customer base from order receipt to payment and ensuring that the agreed services are fulfilled.
- The responsibility for order processing and administration, including regular deadline monitoring in daily coordination with materials management and shipping departments to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Regular communication with your customers about the status of their orders and coordinate any changes.
- Monitoring returns and processing complaints rounds off your area of responsibility.
- Being the first point of contact for any escalations or claims made by the customer, making sure to include the appropriate stakeholders and resolving any issues efficiently.
- Maintaining and updating customer records, order data, and relevant documentation in internal systems to ensure accurate and transparent processing.
- Supporting cross functional collaboration with sales, logistics, and quality teams to improve service levels and contribute to continuous process improvements.
- 2+ years of professional experience in customer service in the aviation and/or wholesale sector.
- Initial experience within after sales and order resolution.
- Proficiency in working with common ERP and CRM tools. Particularly SAP and Salesforce.
- Solid, proven written and spoken English skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency with the MS Office package, especially Excel.
- Familiarity with working for a national and international customer base.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage competing priorities.
- Enjoyment of daily customer contact and working independently.
- Ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities & a highly detail oriented mindset.
This requisition is for a locally hired position in the United Kingdom. Candidates must have current legal authorization to work immediately in the UK. Boeing will not attempt to obtain Immigration and labor sponsorship for any applicants.
