Job Description

As a Customer Solutions Engineer, you will play a critical role in extending and enhancing our Advanced AI Platform, which leverages LLMs to solve industry-specific challenges. You will work directly with clients to understand their needs, design scalable solutions and integrate AI-driven capabilities using APIs, agents and automation.

Role Summary


As a Customer Solutions Engineer, you will play a critical role in extending and enhancing our Advanced AI Platform, which leverages LLMs to solve industry-specific challenges. You will work directly with clients to understand their needs, design scalable solutions and integrate AI-driven capabilities using APIs, agents and automation.

This role requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills and client engagement, ensuring that our platform delivers value-driven, innovative and practical solutions across industries such as legal, health, defence, infrastructure and management consulting.

Duties & Responsibilities


Technical

- Develop and extend platform functionality using Python to enhance AI capabilities and integrate with external systems.

- Build and utilise APIs to develop robust integrations and extend platform capabilities for diverse client needs.

- Leverage LLMs, agentic architectures and prompt engineering techniques to craft AI-driven solutions (training and support provided).

Solution Design & Implementation

- Design, implement and deliver scalable, efficient and reusable solutions tailored to client-specific requirements.

- Align technical solutions with business goals, industry regulations and platform constraints with support from core engineering teams.

- Balance innovation with practical constraints, ensuring compliance, performance and security.

- Diagnose and resolve technical challenges during design and implementation.

- Work directly with clients to gather requirements, understand pain points and translate them into actionable solutions.

- Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Adapt solutions to industry-specific needs in legal, health, infrastructure, defence, or management consulting.

- Act as an independent contributor while collaborating with a wider team of peers for support and knowledge sharing.

Essential Skills and Experience

Technical Expertise

- Strong Python programming skills, with experience in scripting and automation for client-driven solutions.

- Experience in building LLM-powered applications, with a focus on API-level usage, tool/function calling and prompt engineering.

- Experience in developing/utilising APIs (RESTful APIs, third-party platforms and internal APIs).

- Experience working closely with engineering teams and within product development workflows (agile, sprint planning, etc.).

Solution Design & Implementation

- Proven experience in designing, implementing and delivering technical solutions.

- Ability to align solutions with business goals while working within industry-specific constraints.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on identifying scalable and reusable solutions.

- At least three years of experience as a software engineer working on commercial software platforms as part of a development team.

Client Engagement and Communication

- Experience working directly with clients, gathering requirements and translating them into technical implementations.

- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Experience in legal, health, infrastructure, or management consulting is a plus, but the ability to adapt solutions to industry needs is essential.

- Self-sufficient independent contributor with the ability to seek and provide support when needed.

- Willingness to engage in team-wide discussions, knowledge sharing and problem-solving.

- Ability to contribute to high-impact, strategic initiatives beyond immediate project scope.
