£26,000 + Bonus

Are you a customer-focused professional with strong organisational skills and a passion for delivering excellent service? We're working with a forward-thinking organisation, recruiting for a Customer Services Assistant on a 12-month maternity cover contract to join their warm and welcoming team.

The Opportunity

Reporting to a senior team lead, you will play a key role in supporting the customer services function, ensuring a high standard of service delivery across both administrative and customer-facing activities.

You'll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, helping to manage customer queries, support operational processes and ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support across the customer services function

  • Respond to customer queries via phone and email, delivering a high standard of service

  • Ensure accuracy, compliance and data integrity in all tasks

  • Monitor and manage requests from external partners and suppliers

  • Identify process improvements and highlight any anomalies or delays

  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure efficient service delivery

  • Support reporting and tracking of operational activities

About You

You'll be a professional, proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering excellent customer experiences.

Essential:

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths and English

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities

  • Ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines

  • Comfortable working collaboratively across teams
