CT-4502; Financial Services Project Manager, AI Programme

Do you have experience of providing project management and delivery leadership, on a complex, high-risk and interdependent programme within a UK financial services organisation?

This consulting opportunity is to support our client in managing a key workstream within its AI Programme. The role requires an experienced Project Manager capable of maintaining delivery momentum, exercising sound judgement and leading senior stakeholders through complex and ambiguous delivery challenges.

The project needs a consultant who has:

• substantial delivery leadership experience across complex, high-risk and interdependent projects
• experience of working within a highly regulated environment, preferably financial services
• experience of implementing an AI project
• advanced stakeholder leadership capability at senior and executive level

Key Services

The key services that you will be asked to provide are:

• lead delivery of a key workstream within the AI Programme
• maintain delivery momentum across complex risks, ambiguity and interdependencies
• manage priorities, trade-offs and strategic escalations
• identify and manage cross-project and portfolio-level risks and dependencies
• influence senior and executive stakeholders to resolve delivery tensions and drive alignment
• assess complex delivery challenges and lead development of proportionate solutions
• provide clear and authoritative reporting and assurance to senior governance forums

Mandatory Requirements

Successful consultants will be able to demonstrate:

• knowledge of the UK financial services sector and complex regulated environments
• strong delivery leadership across projects with high levels of risk, ambiguity and interdependency
• sound judgement and autonomy in delivery decisions, prioritisation and trade-offs
• advanced senior and executive stakeholder leadership and influencing skills
• strong analytical and problem-solving capability across complex delivery challenges
• proven management of delivery risk and cross-project or portfolio-level dependencies
• excellent communication, reporting and senior governance assurance capability

Optional Requirements

It will also be advantageous if you have:

• technical expertise implementing AI, including delivery and associated business change
• experience managing technical delivery and change within an HR function

Working Pattern: Hybrid - 50% London onsite
