CSPL Administrative Support and MDT Co Ordinator (NHS AfC: Band 4)

Location: Saint Mary's Hospital, Manchester
Contract: Permanent, Full time - 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £28,392 - £31,157 per annum (pro rata)

Job overview: We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and well motivated individual to work within our Gynaecology Division as Cervical Screening Programme Lead (CSPL) Admin Support & Colposcopy MDT Coordinator to provide a comprehensive, professional and effective administrative service.

The post holder will support the Cervical Screening Provider Lead, their Deputy and the Lead Colposcopist ensuring the provision of a comprehensive service, supporting the highest quality patient care through dedicated administrative and clerical support.

Main duties of the job
  • Coordinate Multi Disciplinary Team (MDT) meetings, collating, updating and disseminating clinical information for all Colposcopy patients discussed.
  • Create and maintain a register of clinicians present at each MDT and arrange any AV links required for successful communication.
  • Monitor patient pathway from referral to treatment against National Targets, tracking and updating individual pathways and managing complex administrative processes.
  • Assist in the provision of the National Screening Programme within MFT in a varied and significant role.
Qualifications
  • Educated to GCSE level with a minimum of five GCSEs or equivalent qualification/experience.
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience.
Experience
  • Experience of working with multi disciplinary teams and in isolation settings.
  • Experience of data entry and managing tight deadlines.
  • Track record of engaging staff and managing complex administrative processes.
  • Previous experience of working within the NHS.
  • Experience of extracting data from NHS IT systems.
Knowledge
  • Computer literacy with good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills with ability to prioritise workload.
  • Ability to retrieve information from a wide range of sources and in different formats.
  • Knowledge and experience of using Trust IT systems such as HIVE, CRIS, SCR, etc.
  • Ability to use own initiative and work under pressure, remaining calm in difficult situations.
