Job Title: Crewing Manager Location: London Who are we recruiting for?

Our client is a fast growing ship owner seeking a Crewing Manager to join their leadership team and define the company's global crewing strategy. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this is a unique opportunity for a determined and inspired professional to drive excellence in recruitment, retention, welfare, and seafarer development across a diverse, international fleet.

What will you be doing?

• Developing and implementing a global crewing strategy that aligns with the company's operational and cultural values
• Managing and influencing third party ship management companies to ensure consistent, high quality crewing delivery
• Driving initiatives that enhance retention, diversity, and the overall seafarer experience
• Leading the development of a strong employer value proposition (EVP) to position the company as an employer of choice
• Utilising data & crew feedback to enhance & improve Crewing operations
• Providing strategic insights and benchmarking against industry best practices to guide senior leadership decisions

• Proven experience in a senior crewing or maritime people leadership role within a ship owner or ship management environment
• Strong understanding of international crewing regulations and compliance requirements
• Skilled relationship builder with experience managing and influencing third party partners
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and data driven decision making skills
• Motivated, inspired leader passionate about seafarer welfare and long term talent development
