These flexible opportunities are ideal for individuals who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings. You will work across multiple schools, providing classroom supervision and support on a day-to-day basis, with the potential for longer-term or permanent roles.
Duties as Cover Supervisor:- Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain on task
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and maintain a positive learning environment
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and any issues
- Support the wider school community as needed
- Previous experience working with young people in an educational setting is desirable
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to different subjects and school environments
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
- Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check or have one registered on the Update Service
